• This photograph was made near my home, in Bavaria, Germany. It is part of my minimalist “Silence Series”.This country, Upper Bavaria/ Greater Munich area has been my home land for a long time and I have taken this quiet, graceful “hill country” to my heart. With this series I want to show the beauty of this simple and partly “sleepy” landscape and the power it carries. Winter is the best time to do this. The land, which is otherwise used by agriculture industry, is in a deep sleep. The rolling hills, covered with a white blanket of snow, open the view of fields and small woods. A landscape with which I combine peace and quietness.This photograph was made near my home, in Bavaria, Germany. It is part of my minimalist “Silence Series”.
